6 String Fretted Bass Fast Facts

A 6-string bass, tuned an octave lower than the guitar, produced in 1962 with 3 single-coil pick-ups and a tremolo arm.  The body shape was similar to that of the Jaguar, as was the layout of the controls.  However, the Bass VI was never very popular and Fender discontinued it early in the 1970s.
